The British boxer is set to fight the American YouTuber in an eight-round fight which will be streamed in real-time on Netflix.
British boxer Joshua stated he will "stamp all over" the American and "break" the American as the combatants met personally to publicize the upcoming heavyweight fight.
Ex twice world heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua faces social media star turned fighter Paul - in what is, theoretically, a huge uneven pairing - at Miami's venue on 19 December.
Fighter's Mindset
"I plan to injure his face and break his body up. My goal is to show I'm superior," the British boxer, 35 years old, stated.
"I will dominate him completely. That's a fighter's mentality.
"I intend to genuinely try to injure him. That's what I want to do."
Respectful Interaction
In spite of these statements, a composed Joshua and internet personality Jake Paul - normally known for his dramatics - were respectful and maintained decorum with each other.
Paul rather criticized ex Joshua's opponent the Cameroonian fighter and described him as "not serious" after Ngannou rejected a fight offer.
Taking Aim at Tyson Fury
Anthony Joshua, in the meantime, criticized UK rival Fury - and declined a large bet 'The Gypsy King' says he will place on a Paul win.
"[Paul] is better than Fury - he showed up," Joshua said.
"I acknowledge that."
Serious Fighter
Despite stating he plans to punish Paul, Anthony Joshua refused to comment unfavorably about his rival's boxing ability.
"Jake Paul is a legitimate boxer," he remarked.
Jake Paul's History
Jake Paul - who originally gained popularity on the Disney Channel - has mostly boxed MMA fighters or faded names since turning professional.
He lost to Briton Tommy Fury in last year.
Financial Success
Nevertheless, the relative newcomer continues to be one of boxing's biggest money-making draws, frequently receiving substantial paydays.
Forecast and Belief
The 28-year-old predicted a knockout win in round four or five and asserted he would stop the much-anticipated Joshua–Fury fight, which is reportedly being planned for 2026.
"It's going to be me versus Tyson Fury in the coming year," Paul stated.
Size Disparity
As both boxers met for the customary confrontation, with their physical disparity on show, it drove home just how surprising this whole event is - and how amazing it is that the match is really going ahead.
